Title: The Grand Dame of Scottish engraving
Post by: Lustrousstone on October 29, 2009, 12:09:27 PM
An interesting little article on page 4 (http://www.kirstyeaglesfield.co.uk/edinburgh_college_of_art_decades_9.pdf) about Alison Geissler. Wonder whether we will still be working at 95. As far as I can tell she is still alive.

There is an important typo though: Helen Rowe should be Helen Monro, as in Helen Monro Turner.

Hi Christine.

I would be very interested to read this article, but the link is not successful - it comes up as the file being damaged, and therefore not available.

It works for me Nigel, I have it open now in Adobe Reader. It's probably a corrupt download, try downloading it again and it will most likely work. If not, I'll email you a copy over.

Hi Anne,

Just tried again and am getting this on Adobe reader, "The file is damaged and could not be repaired", so an email would be great.

Many thanks, Nigel
