5 inches high,dark olive green,horse tonic?Keith
-
Could be an old liqueur bottle - Benedictine comes to mind
-
What's the horseshoe on the front then?
-
I have no idea how old it is , but the wealthy did like their own-branded bottles
-
Branded,is that a horse shoe related joke?
-
Nice 19th ct. black glass liquor bottle but no horse in sight - I suggest you check one of te bottle collector sites
-
No it wasn't a joke, the wealthy had bottles made to order with their initial or coats of arms or presumably whatever they ordered
-
I've seen them on larger bottles but not on anything as tiny as this,I presumed it came from a vet(hence the horse shoe on the front)Keith.
-
that is not a horse shoe.
-
It's an odd family crest then,
-
