Title: Is this a Paul Ysart butterfly?

I think this butterfly paperweight (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574631383&toolid=10001&campid=5336261829&customid=&icep_item=180428344287&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg) probably is by Paul, but the antennae are not too well attached at the head.  Is that of any relevance?

Alan.

There are just three bidders currently listed and two were prepared to fight it out to the high bid so far. And both feel the weight is worth at least the amount they bid. Nothing unusual in that. Good PY items, even unsigned ones, attract good money from people who are keen on them.

As for the antennae, yes, they are not so well set as many others but that will not do too much harm to the eventual high bid.

Let's wait until the item finishes and see what the winning bid wil be.

I can confirm that the buyer is happy with the price they had to pay. And no, I was not the buyer, and neither was it Colin Mahoney in the US.
