Title: Video clip - Fenton: watch a vase being "swung"
Post by: Glen on November 09, 2009, 08:38:30 PM
I understand that the Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs film (featuring Fenton) airs in the US tomorrow (Tuesday) but there’s a clip up on the ‘net right now that shows work at the glory hole and the amazing technique of “swinging” (a vase). You need to put up with an ad first then the video starts. It's only short but really good to watch the vase being "swung".

Thanks for showing us this, Glen! Isn't that extraordinary. I'd always envisaged the whole arm swinging like a helicopter blade!  :spls2: :-[ Spinning the rod like a baton is a far more controlled way to do it.

He made it look so easy but I bet it's not! Thanks for the link Glen, very interesting.
