Hi,
Hoping someone can confirm that this bowl is by Hartley Wood, Sunderland. It's in streaky glass, predominantly in shades of red and yellow. The bowl is quite heavy. The only thing that isn't consistent with other Hartley Wood pieces is the pontil; this bowl has a very neat ground & polished pontil mark, rather than the snapped off mark I've seen on other pieces.
Diameter is 10 1/2 inches (26.6 cm)
Thanks!

Looks like Whitefriars pat.no.7192.
If you are interested in selling, please email or phone.
Paul.

Thanks Paul! That explains the pontil finish then :)
Any idea as to the production date please?
I'll send you an email & further photos when I've decided what I'm doing with the bowl - I'm a little busy at the moment though so it might be a few days....
All the best,
Steven
