Title: millefiori weight looks modern chinese to me marked on base

hi all
i found this earlier today on ebay (it isnt one of mine by the way) and im trying to work out what the "signed" bit is cant see it in the pictures, but she descibes it in the text as "2 Interlocking D's or Turning The Other Way Would Be 2A's"
anybody any ideas?? looks modern chinese maybe Murano to be but im not great with paperweights

The weight is Murano (possibly Fratelli Toso?). No idea about the "signature" but weights of that type were / are tourist gift items and not normally signed.

thanks for that, its along the lines of what i thought, as its similar to a Fratelli toso i had (although mine was sligtly nicer ;D), ive asked to some more pictures of the base and asked a couple of questions re the "signiature" ie if its etched on, if it looks like hand written or like block lettering. will let you know what they say

they have just emailed me back saying the cant get a better photo unfortunitly but said its "etched on" and "hand written"

The weight definitely looks Murano. The canes look like ones Fratelli Toso used 1950-60s. I would be very surprised if it is signed. Maybe someone added some after-purchase marks.
