Title: Any ideas for the date of this moulded Olympic-Torch-Bearing-Hand Vase ? Ta!

Has 3 seams and a heavy base. I think it might be pre-WW2... any thoughts please ? Thanks for looking ! Cheers Mike.

Well that's a real surpise ! It's a fake !!  :'(  Beware of moulds ....I'm sure lots of Victorian moulds are being re-used from what I have seen out there...very difficult to tell a fake from an original !

Marinka doesn't say that these ones are fake, just that they are relatively new.

I know I'm showing my age, but I can remember when the torch was the warning sign outside every school in the UK.  Still doesn't help to date the vase, or identify the maker....
