Hi everyone
I have bumped this up with a picture of all three pieces I bought today - any ideas please?
-
PJ — Is that central plinth marked? If so, is it in lovely flamboyant old numerals with serifs, or in a miserly thin small font? And what's the number? It'll be four digits long and start with a "2".

Hi Bernard
No, unfortunately it isn't marked at all - I have seen something similar described as Georgian glass, but were these plinths made in Georgian times?

Your bowls look like what is known as Bagley's Salisbury pattern, No 2832. They are probably salad bowls

Hi again, yes, I had thought Bagley, but couldn't find anything similar. Thank you so much for your input! PJ :kissy:

PJ — Your central plinth is by Sowerby, but I am not at all sure about the vase on it. It might be Sowerby with cut decoration. Is the decoration cut or moulded?

Bernard you are great - thank you so much for your help. I have now found a few pieces of the Bagley, Salisbury design - and they do match it. The central vase fits perfectly on its plith so I will now scour the net for Sowerby. Once again, thanks!!! :hiclp:

The bowl plinths are Bagley too

Thanks Christine - I thought you would know, have you been away over the weekend?

I've had a visitor and we went to the glass fair yesterday.
