Hi,
does anyone have any ideas who the maker is of this paperweight?
It stands at an angle on a section cut away from the side and has a mixture of very small, close canes. I cannot see any letters within the canes. The base is slightly dimpled and overall it is good quality with no damage.
Size is about 2.1/2" across.

The paperweight was made by Strathearn Glass. This facetted design is less common than the normal domed weight, but there are nevertheless quite a lot of them around. You find both closepack designs (like yours) and spoked designs.
