It's an unusual signature for Murano. Could we see the entire piece? It is the type of signature I would expect on some Scandinavian or North American vessels.

For sale as Murano..thats why i was querying the sig..as it did not look like Murano ..

I can't read the signature very well, but I wonder if it is a signature like the Strombergshyttan one discussed in the Scandinavian group (www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,27901.0.html). I have been trying to piece your signature together, but without the glass in hand it is difficult.

Thanks for that Anita..i think you may be on the right track..will go and have another look at the pieces there (other link) and see if it helps.

Jean, the end of the signature seem very familiar to me, but I can't remember from where. I am thinking Scandinavian. I hope one of our Murano-Scandinavian glass enthusiasts will happen along soon and provide a definite yes or no.

cannot really see it in the sig - but the piece looks like a Maastricht Max Verboeket piece from the sixties.
