Title: Unusual hobnail or diamond cut drinking glass
Post by: peejyweejy on November 24, 2009, 04:54:50 PM
Hi everyone, here is an interesting piece of glass in that it is drinking glass size, but very thick and substantial. I suppose it could be an open salt. Any ideas please - it has no marks?

Is it really cut? Or is it pressed? It looks pressed to me. Measurements please

Hi Christine

You are correct, it is pressed, I just thought the pattern might be called diamond cut - don't know why I thought that. It is just over 9cm in height and 7cm in diameter across the rim.
