Hi,
Im new to this board, in fact just discovered it. I collect victorian art glass shakers and condiment sets. Wondering if there are any
other collectors of the same out there.

I admit it sometimes im a bit snobby and my first thought where oh condiment sets.. bit boring, but then i looked at your pictures... they are soooo pretty i think my favourites are the second photo, the 2 red and white ones...
thanks for showing us them very nice indeed (and i shall now keep an eye out for them) ;D

Some shakers with an actual shaker mould.

They are pretty. I think pretty shakers are very much a US thing; I'm not saying they were all made there but we just don't see very much beyond, cut crystal, cranberry or pressed clear in the UK

Scott - Any thoughts on who made the barrel shaped blue opalescent stripe with enameling one in your second post? It's listed as unidentified in Lechner's II. We recently found one for a song and thought it might be by Beaumont.
My one lonely Wave Crest set:

I would tend to agree with you about US shakers but dont count out others. Here is a Stevens & Williams undeveloped Burmese shaker
that is quite rare!

I know the shaker you are talking about. I have one around here somewhere too. Im not sure who made it but they also
made little cruet bottles that are extremely hard to find.
This is not my set but here are the cruet bottles.
Very nice Wavecrest set! I like the sets with the holders because I think the holders are just as nice and fancy as the shakers
