Title: Is this a piece of Nazeing Glass or is it perhaps Scottish?
Post by: zidori on November 27, 2009, 03:30:44 PM
Another piece from my job lot but I cannot match it to any of the Scottish makers and my knowledge of Nazeing Glass is so limited that I cannot determine if it fits that bill. Any help would be most appreciated.

If thats a streak of aventurine it could be Clutha .

Not Nazeing, unlikely Scottish but I suspect English... maybe Nigel can have a peek.

Thank you both for your responses. I have been away for a week, hence the lack of acknowledgement. There is no aventurine in this piece. There is what appears to be a layer of clear bubbles on top of the green colour as opposed to the "internal" bubbles I've seen in some Monart pieces.
Regards
