Post by: spyder on November 28, 2009, 08:31:35 PM
I bought this today. The size is 5 3/4" tall & 3" diameter at the biggest part. Beautiful peach amber glass with black etching. Any one have any idea who made this and the age? Thanks for your help.

Yes that is a gondola which fixes the place or origin; the decor may be galvanised silver, so it would polish up superbly into a high gloss silver - just use the light touch, it is a very thin layer. Timewise this would be thirties through seventies.

It is not silver. Looks to be acid etched maybe?
