Any information appreciated.
I thought this might be quite a common Sklo piece, and might easily be identified.
Thanks in advance,
Stu.

Thank you very much, Norman. I will be listing the item on "Marketplace" and ebay sometime soon, starting at 50p so do keep an eye out.

THANKS WILL DO

Pollax rather than Polax though. :)

hi Anne
sometime ago Marcus corrected me on my reference guide as to Polax....as spelt in the book the same way.
So now i am unsure.

The Czech spelling is with 1 "L" English is with 2, if I remember correctly from when I was working on the database.

Thanks Della
that solves all ...i guess.

The GlassExport catalogues show it as Pollax with two LL's so to be on the safe side, I'd suggest using both spellings in any listing, Stu.

The word Pollax is not Czech at all ;D
In Czech language is never used double L
BTW, thanks very much Norman for CD, arrived OK
