Title: Zelezny Brod? Mstisov?
Post by: langhaugh on December 07, 2009, 12:34:59 AM
When I first saw this piece I thought I could see blue in it as well as green, and so I thought it might be Mstisov. Now I see only an aqua green (fairly accurate photograph) that suffuses the whole piece and a more intense stripe where the wing joins the vase, which makes it look more Zelezny Brod. It weighs 1 3/4 lbs, stands 7" tall, and has a flat polished bottom. As usual, the label is mine. Whatever it is, I'd be grateful to anyone who can supply me with an attribution.

Thanks a bunch.

Jindrich, Marcus, Robert? Any suggestion welcomed.

David,
you are not either forgotten nor ignored. I simply have not found any serious proof for designer and fabricator yet.  But I am sure I will find it somewhere, I have the same piece in my collection. My suspiction is focused to ZBS.

Jindrich:  Thanks for the information. I know you must be very busy, so I appreciate your comments very much.
