Title: Wavy edged bowl with concentric circle design

Hi - My glass collection is growing faster then my ability to identify it again - you would think the local Recycling Centre would label things up! - anyway one of my gaps is this item. Any ideas? it seems similar to the Jobling bowl I have.

Does it glow green under UV light? I don't know what it is, but it looks as if it might just be uranium glass.

I don't have a UV light so I'm not sure. But thanks for your help.

I asked Lustrousstone to have a peek, as she's very experienced with uranium glass, she thinks it's not, that the greenish colour which appears in the photos is simply the colour of the glass itself, (a bit Pyrex-y) rather than from uranium.

No it's quite clear as can be seen in this picture.

Even clear glass can have a slight tint. I did think I saw a green-ish hue around the edges, where it appears to be thicker - or is that simply the photograph?

I think that's because you are looking at it end-on - Its completely clear otherwise.

I've changed the image code as HTML is disabled for posts, all you need is to just include the image link, or you can use the BB code tag for images when you make your post. There's a Help page about BB code here (not all of it is enabled on the board, but the image tag is for sure):
