Hi, I'm new here, and had a question about the identification of some stemware that I broke. It was given to my roommate by his grandmother in Colombia while she was still living. The marking on the bottom says "FRANCE." The pattern is raised and depicts leaves and cherries I believe. I wish I could give more information, but unfortunately, I know very little about this type of thing.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. It would be a life saver if anyone found anything out for me.
Thanks again!

The news is not so good, I'm afraid. Even if have never seen this particular decor (it may have been exclusive for South America?) I recognise the model. They are standard wine glasses mass produced by Arques (ARC International) in high - i mean high volume. Arques produce more than a million glasses per day and export to each and every country in the world. You will find Arques glass in countries you have not even heard of....

Thanks for the help. I guess it's a good place to start. I'll keep looking and hopefully find it somewhere!

At least it should be easy to replace the one you broke! :)
