I found a set of these glass tumblers and the design is very interesting. The bottoms are slightly heavy and the weight varies with each glass. The amber color of the glass looks like Nuutajarvi glass, but I can't be sure. I seem to recall seeing this design on a website somewhere, but I can't figure out which one it was. Could these possibly be Kaj Franck's design? Any help or suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

I was hoping somebody could comment on these. I think that design is pretty fantastic. I thought that they looked vintage because of the color. These could almost double as a vase, they are so elegant. I tend to think this type of design is always scandinavian, but I may be wrong.

Thanks, Andy. I do know about that site. I came across this tumbler and it does look quite like the set that I have, but the glass on this one looks a bit thicker.

What do you think?
-
Sorry, they look completely different to my eyes, beyond a loose similarity of form.

I think that these may be produced by Denby Milnor of Sweden.
-
 You mean made by Milnor in Sweden, but desiged, imported & marketed by English ceramic company Denby?
-
MilNor is/was an American importer based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
I have found a copy of a MilNor Denby advert from a 1969 magazine (title unlnown) giving the company name and address.
