hi everyone, i have this jar, i think it may have been used for jam as it has a slot in the lid

Hi Alison,
its cranberry colour, but the term usually refers to 19th Century or early 20th C glass,
I think yours is probably 1950s/60s,

thank you Andy, i am glad now that i only paid 50p for it, i have put it on ebay, so who knows, i might actually double my money lol
