Title: Seasonal Pin Dish
Post by: zidori on January 04, 2010, 08:19:53 PM
I have been trying to identify the maker of this seasonally appropriate pin dish. I thought of Perthshire Paperweights because of the type of canes or perhaps John Deacons. Can anyone please help?
Regards
Ronnie

It was made by Peter McDougall. I have the matching paperweight. Pretty, isn't it?

Thank you Antonia. It really is a pretty little dish - so vibrant.

As a point of interest, items like these, with a "flattened paperweight" base have sometimes been said to be 'seconds turned into something usable'. That may well be true of some items, but many are made exactly that way and are really attractive pieces.
