Thanks for posting this. Through Fat Lava and related ceramics, I've been lucky enough to meet the author Conrad on a number of occasions. He's a great expert, very knowledgeable and passionate, and is open and generous with his experience and knowledge. He's also a really great guy!

Is he a member of GMB? If not, why not invite him to join us Mark, his expertise would be very welcome. :)

Hi Anne,
No, I don't think he is a GMB member. But I do recall that last time we communicated he was very busy between his work at the Royal Ontario Museum and his book on Blue Mountain ceramics. But who am I to say?! I'll drop him a message and say hello. I'm planning to make a blog post drawing (deserved) attention to this article anyhow.
Best,
Mark

It's an excellent link, which I think has been recently updated. The other link which is useful for Chalet, listed but inaccurately in the article, is http://www.canadiandesignresource.ca/officialgallery/glass/chalet-glass-bowl/  There's some interesting recollections by people closely connected to the beginnings of Chalet. The Michel Blais link is of limited use now.
