5 ins high,mis-matched mesh, the pink stripes are internal ribs, moulded base and loys of wear,Keith.

Hi Keith,
The thin double line stripes like this are more typical of Franz Welz production. That is who I would attribute this piece to.

Again many thanks,my first piece of Welz, welz what do you know, sorry, couldn't help myself,Keith.

Here are examples of a couple of known pieces. One with similar striping and colors.... The other is different colors, but the same shape.
The pink decor is shown in the Welz case at the Passau in a similar form as the top vase in these pics.

Very nice, wish I could get one with its original wire mesh,

Thanks from me too Craig
I have the exact same vase as your #2 (size= 13cm) and another in the same colour and decor but different shape with a silver rim collar. The silver is hallmarked but I can't make out the marks. Will try to photo them.

Pete,
I would love to see images of a Welz piece with a hallmarked collar.... even if we can not make out the hallmarks... I do not have any yet. You can email large ones directly to me using my mail icon if you would like... I would love to have them to use on the website in the Welz section.....
posting here also, would of course be great....
Thanks, Craig
