Title: Is this ugly carafe one for the skip or can it be described as art glass ?

If someone made it it's art,therefore it's art glass,beauty is in the.....etc...,looks a bit like re-cycled glass,keep it one day it might turn out to be valuable,you never know,Keith.

Keep it by the bed. It may come in handy in the middle of the night! For a great new carafe look up the one made by Nazeing as a result of London Mayor, Boris Johnson's Top-Tap competition to promote London tapwater drinking for the 2012 games - should kill off the opposition!!!

Thanks for the quick reply and the link. Its a great pic. I saw them being made - more work than you might think from the simple design. I will try to get it posted on the www.glasscircle.org site or mentioned in the March newsletter of The Glass Circle in London.
