Title: Impressive, very heavy and large covered, cut glass bowl Bohemian?
Post by: peejyweejy on January 21, 2010, 05:26:34 PM
Hi again

This is a lovely piece quite large, not trinket dish size. It's about 7" square and 5" in height, extremely heavy and super quality. I think it could be Bohemian but would like to know something about its age etc. Also whatwould it be used for - please!

Many thanks
Peejy

A powder jar perhaps?  My Grandma had something like that with a huge pink fluffy powder puff in it.

Yes, I did think of that and it is, currently, sitting on my dressing table full of cotton wool balls   ;)
