Title: Pinched, green, controlled bubble vase!
Post by: peejyweejy on January 21, 2010, 05:48:16 PM
This is a lovely vase but I haven't been able to find any answers on maker etc. Any ideas please?

Thanks
Peejy

and not controlled bubble; those are random and look to have been created by stirring (sometimes they are created chemically). I would say perhaps not Biot. It's usually marked and has more bubbles

Usually marked, as you say but not always - I have an unmarked Biot wineglass bought by my parents when we visited the Biot Glassworks in the 1970s whilst on holiday.  You could be right that this vase isn't bubbly enough though Christine, I know what you mean.
