I recently purchase this vase from a charity shop. I know nothing about the vase. I have been through various sites in order to identify, however, not having much success. Can anyone help ? The vase height measures 24cm and the base dia. 8.5cm. The top dia. 9.1cm. The thickness of the vase is 10cm. The overall weight is 4 kg. It is a lovely looking vase. Within the base of the vase is a overall shape bubble. The longest point of the bubble is 7cm across and 2cm high. When viewed from the base the magnification of the top of the vase becomes reduced. The based is polished and flat. Similar to some of the items done by Whitefriars. If anyone can help me it will be most appreciated.

I'm going to hazard a guess at this and as I am usually wrong you may want to wait and see what others say;it reminds me of a pair of Chinese vases I have the pattern is different but the glass quality and base are similar,Keith.

Most definitely not Whitefriars. I have to agree with Keith, probably Chinese

How about starting with China?

China sounds a good place to start! Certainly don't bother to put it on www.whitefriars.com, there are no similarities at all. :o

Thanks! to you all. I will definitely start my attention towards China.
