Title: Could this be another Czech?
Post by: kmax70 on January 22, 2010, 11:26:03 AM
After the much appreciated success in getting the chunky vase from Chribska identified I am now asking help for 3 other potential Ebay sales for my charity (in 3 separate posts).  I had this box of glassware, and BMP pottery, delivered last week for processing, and am now fighting my way through towards a listing for next week.   I now know more than I did when i started, but there are large gaps in my glass knowledge.

The first feels like another Czech item.   It is a symmetrical swirl design with a solid pale turquoise base, shading up again through gold to orange.   It measures approx. 11 ins (28cm) long by 5.5 ins (14cm) tall at its tallest point.   It is a heavy item, but the glass is not quite as thick as the Chribska vase in my previous post.

Many thanks again for past, and future help.

That ones quite attractive, Id go for Murano as most likely for the origin

The colours look more Czech than Murano to me.
