Looks very much like the scent bottles I've seen on their site would some kind person confirm(or deny) please,Keith.

No sorry. I've got a feeling it could be Gozo or one of the other Malteze glass works but not Mdina.

Have searched the Maltese glass makers and my books and still can't find anything similar, the glass is heavy for it's size and the stopper fits well it doesn't seem like cheap repro',help,Keith.

I wish I had a pound for every one of these Ive seen listed as Okra I would be quite rich. The one thing that gives this away as not being Okra is the Titanium iridescent finish which is about as cheap as you can get and would and never has been used by Richard.
I'll keep my eyes open and get back to you if I come up with a maker.

Thanks Mike, didn't think it was Okra as I've a piece by R.Golding and there is quite a difference it's just that the Okra scent bottles were the closest I could find to this one,ta,

I wonder if it might be Heron Glass, from Ulverston, up here in Cumbria. (Now out of business as of Dec 2009.)
-
Thanks Anne,will look them up,ta,Keith.

Just showed this to another eminent glass expert Dear Old Ron Wheeler, some people don't bother with the Dear bit and these words have flown from the masters mouth, or the horses, which ever takes your fancy.
I have come across these in all kinds of finishes including heavily iridised. They all follow the same shape and cold finished rims.
We are sure they are from Eastern Europe.
Hope this helps Keith

Thanks Mike,I can stop searching the 228 pages of Chinese scent bottles, numerous Thai types,South African and Taiwan,it was starting to get tedious,if I find anything definite I'll post the results,ta,
