Title: Murano (K-9) dog?

Hello! I am wondering if this dog can be ID'ed as Murano, or a designer? It's about 6-1/2"tall, quite heavy. It is marked with the number 491121624, or, as I see it, 49/12/624. Thank you for any help!

Welcome to the board! What a cutie he is. :)  I've amended your subject to include dog - not because we don't appreciate the K-9 reference but because the board's Search function wouldn't pick it up as a dog reference unless someone thought to search for K-9!

I can't be much help with your dog, but I didn't want it to pass by without a word. From the size, color, and shelf wear, I can tell it is a good dog. It looks like Murano glass to me from the 1950s or early 1960s.
