Vase purchase from a charity shop. Require confirmation that it is Caithness. There are so many similarities in vases and I hope the pics will confirm. The vase measures approx. 24.5cm. The top measures 8.6cm. The rim 0.4 cm thick and the base 8.8cm. It looks very similar to small vases that I have seen, however, I have not seen one this size before. The vase does come with a label, stating Caithness. One would of thought a vase of this size would have the name etched under the base. Can anyone give me a  please.

I'd have said straight off Caithness too, and seeing the label makes me happier thinking that. A lot of Caithness is not marked other than with those wee labels,

Thanks! Anne. Very much appreciated.

Caithness isn't marked except with a label unless its a paperweight.

I have a little vase that's marked Caithness, its so difficult to see so I can't get a pic of it but I would describe it as 'machine etched'

Trust you, you lurker :kissy: I think I actually meant to put a usually in there, I realised last night
-
:24: But it is almost invisible, I didn't spot it for ages.
Is that how they're usually marked?
