A Textured basket bowl in clear glass with a light brown handle. The bowl is large and is oval in shape with the longest sides folded in to allow for the ends of the handle as can be seen via. pics. There is concentric protruding spots around the bowl on the outside. the inside of the bowl is smooth to touch. The bowl looks seated on a stand but, however is part of the whole bowl. the height of the bowl without the handle is approx. 9cm at folded ends and the base measuring 6.6cm dia. The bowl itself looks pressed by the patterns on the base area.

Again, the coloured background makes it hard to see clearly Otis. For clear glass a matt black background works best and for colours a matt white one, for a piece such as this I'd put black paper below and white behind it and see how they come out.
Incidentally, it often helps us with narrowing down possible makers if we know where in the world you are and where you found the item (to the nearest continent that is! ;)) You can add your location into your Profile - see the blue tabs above and press Profile, then go to Modify Profile in the left hand menu, then to Forum Profile Information link and there's a box about halfway down to enter where you are. Don't forget to scroll down to the bottom of that screen and save your change or it won't be actioned. ;)

WAAAAY better pics, Otis. Well done. :hiclp: :chky: :chky: :chky: And you're in Great Britain. If I think of it, I will google some restaurant suppliers here in town and see what I can find about syrup containers.

Thanks! Carolyn. Through the advise and Chris on my case. ::) I am trying to improve every day. Occasionally interrupts do occur, however, I too can see a significant difference in the quality of the pictures most recently taken. I aslo look forward and appreciate any information you can obtain on the syrup containers. Once again, Many thanks!
