Hi,
Does anyone recognize this paperweight please? It looks (to me) like the earth at night and has a small blue and green twist like a boat. It is signed JS 96.
Thank you,
Marie.

Sorry, should have said - it's quite small; about 5cm in diameter.

That is a beauty. It may be Josh Simpson. Bob

Thanks Bob,
I'll try to find out if Josh Simpson has done similar examples. (I think it's lovely.)
Thanks,
Marie.

Hi Marie,
Here's a photo showing Josh Simpson's signature on a weight in my collection. I believe this is part of his New Mexico Series. Personally, I think it looks rather celestial. This weight is approximately 3x3 (inches).

I hope you are able to find out more about your weight.
My best ... Lily :)
The moment I posted this, :hb1: I remembered my Josh Simpson marble which measures about 1.5 inches. This should be more helpful than the larger weight.

Hi Lily,
Thank you for the links. Your weight and marble are beautiful. After seeing Bob's post I had a look at Josh Simpson's work and it is enchanting. I think my little sphere looks like his 'possibly inhabited planets'. Thank you for the info :) .
Best Regards,
Marie.
