The letters could be a designated order number, a design number or initials - I honestly don't know. Just chucking in a couple of alternatives rather than plumping straight for them being an artist's or designer's initials.

I know that Mdina used numbers written on small wide rectangular paper labels to designate an order for somebody, so there is a possibility this was done here, as it is an offshoot of Mdina.

Very pretty piece. I am still firmly of the opinion that Phoenecian glass is highly under-rated.

I agree sue and Andy, I have a few pieces in my collection, and a friend has a tall vase similar to the decanter seen in this thread. Some of there stuff is absolutly stunning and can be picked up so cheaply, i think its one for the future.

Absolutely stunning, (the older post) and sorry I didn't comment at the time - I was absent owing to very bad health back then - unable to string two words together, not fit to be posting.

I agree completely, though, one to be gathering now.

Summer Fruits, Greenberry. I've got one too. I love having glass mushrooms everywhere inbetween my main bits of glass. I don't count them as PWs. >:D
