Hi Elena and welcome to the board. I've split off your post from another topic to which it was unrelated so we don't get confused. You might find it useful to read this topic which will help you understand how the board works, and explains about new posts and replies.

I've also changed your subject line to something more meaningful - see here for why it matters: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,17458.0.html. If you need help with using any aspect of the board check out the Tips in our Help forum: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html or ask for help directly on the board or via email to me or one of the other Moderators.
And finally, yes, your bowl is Italian. We've not pinned down a maker as yet but they have been discussed on the board in these earlier topics which you'll probably find of use:

Hope this helps. :)

Saw a trinket set today with this type of edging never considered Italy thought it was a bit of old tat from Taiwan or thereabout,Keith.

Keith, if you search very closely you can often find ITALY in *very* tiny letters somewhere.

It was in the back of a cabinet so couldn't see it properly, will have a peek next time I'm there,Keith.

We have got a maker for these: A Masserini, the pattern is Barocco

True, we have the name yep, Christine, but we can't figure who Masserini are... or can we? Ivo seems to have some questions about who the name belongs to - i.e. maker or marketeer, so I thought they were still a query?
