Post by: andy666 on February 21, 2010, 03:41:30 PM
I wonder if anybody would be able to help in the id of this bowl please.
The bowl stands 4" high and has a diameter of 10" the bowl also has swags around and has a polished pontil !

Any help will be appreciated  ;D

It is hard to tell from the photos, but could it be Whitefriars or Webb perhaps?

The wavy pattern looks more WF's than Webbs,

Hi cheers for the replies, i thought that it may be WF but posted this on whitefriars.com and they said that it is not. I will try and get better pictures uploaded.

Matt white background works better than the tiles Andy as the camera is showing the tiles clearer than the bowl. A large sheet of white paper taped to the tiles at the top and curved down onto the worktop would do it.
