I've seen the exact same shape by Barovier Toso but always in more pastel colours with aventurine, so maybe from them.

Thank you Paul - that is very likely. With a finish like that  it just had to be one of the big names.

Hi Ivo,
Great bird!
I had a Seguso piece, small green little bird, with the same head pose, but I am a bit thrown by the tail and the way it flows from the body. I recently purchased 2 Seguso birds (bookends) in the same pose, but the tails are much shorter and they have gold inside. Also they have tail feathers. I think Seguso and Barovier is be a good starting point.
