Any thoughts on this
-
the top does remind me of some Kaj Franck designs, however, my suspicions are that it is much more modern, something to start with...
-
Does that top(stopper)actually fit the neck of the bottle? difficult to tell from the photo,
Keith.

Just found this, just the same colours. I think Venini pieces are usually signed though! Im sure youve had a good look for any marks.

The colours reminded me of Venini, too., but I'm fairly sure that Venini didn't do anything this shape. It would defintiely be signed if it were Venini.
Is it a stopper on the top?

The stopper might be from an Empoli Glass Decanter.

Stopper doesn't look to fit properly from the photo - could be a marriage?
-
thanks folks could well be a marriage as it fits the other piece better .. about two years between finding this piece and the other vase have included some dimensions ...round top 11.5cm high blue base 12cm high .. slight wear on the base more pics attached
