on ebay I have found this paperweight:

what is it exactely?

This seller generally knows what he has. It is very difficult to distinguish between late Vasart and early Strathearn. So, unless he's completely wrong, late Vasart/early Srathearn is the answer.

Yes, the eBay listing is ok.

Sometimes it is not easy to be sure about a very early Perthshire Paperweights item, but in general the cane setting looks to be more "compacted", or "tightly set". When the canes are in a more open setting, it usually suggests an early to mid (or even later) Strathearn, or a Vasart Ltd item. As for Ysart Brothers (first period Vasart) weights, they have a "look and feel" of their own which is hard to explain in text.
