Title: Red Cased footed vase
Post by: flying free on March 11, 2010, 10:55:29 PM
A really nice red I have to say  :) the foot is domed and finished perfectly.  9" tall.
The rim is ground and polished and overall it's quite heavy for it's size. Cased white interior but fairly thin.
Any thoughts please?
many thanks

Possibly Italy, Germany or China (and maybe other places). Need to see the inner white casing.

Very very thin inner white casing, the thinnest of all of my pieces practically non existent.
The rim isn't polished I don't think , I shouldn't post so late at night ::)

It feels quite substantial for it's size and seems to be very nicely made despite those two comments  :-\

From the dodgy rim and thin white lining, probably China.
