The canes in this little bud vase were very difficult to photograph, especially the center cane, which can give the appearance of containing the initial "P", although I question if it is indeed a "P". I'm thinking Scottish, Vasart to early Strathearn, rather than Perthshire. What do you think?

it's just a vase you're going through...

It is most likely a Vasart bud vase, but may possibly be early Strathearn.
I have a similar one at:

The central cane does not have a "P" - it's a regular circle with a bit squished out at one point.
Because of the height of the canes extending above the ground, I would lean towards Vasart Ltd, but would also agree that it could be early Strathearn.

Allan, our bud vases definitely have the same shape (where the neck and weight come together. The canes are different to my eye but then many different canes were used.
KevH, thanks for the more official Subject Line and for your comment. Identifying Scottish weights still eludes me except on perhaps the most elementary level.
Ivo, thanks for the chuckle! ;) With that, I think it is time to vaaaaase out .....
Thanks to all .... Lily ;D
