http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e57/emmismith/Miscellaneous/DecoAmberBase.jpg Mod: Images gone, please see posts below for alternative images
6.25 inches (16cms) high and 6 inches ( 15.3cms) diameter. 8 "faceted" sides and smooth polished base. Any ideas please?
Looks like could be used as an ice bucket or of course just a vase.

Hi Emmi,
1930's Rudolf Schrotter, Rudolfova hut, for Josef Inwald a.s. Pattern number 11370. Information from the pre 1958 catalogue, page 43, which is on the CD database with Marcus' book, Sklo Union: Art Before Industry.

Very much appreciated Della, thank you.

As Emmi's pics seem to have vanished, here is mine for reference :D
Michael
edit: mine has a flat polished base, in opposite to >> this one on CW (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/85437-smokey-glass-vase-20s) (which seems to have the typical Sklo Union bird-bath base...)
Woud this point to pre WW2 production?
