My first piece of Mdina ;D. Just over 10cm tall and 10cm in dia. Has the the Mdina label, I assume it is the paper label but hard tell now from the water damage. Also signed Mdina to the base. I have been looking at a few sites over the past week hoping to spot another like piece for year and possibly who had made it without success. I assume maybe 70's/80's? I am slowly learning more on Mdina and I must say, a very prolific glass maker. Hopefully the Mdina experts could shed some more light on this piece!

Ooohh lovely! I hope you know that the amethyst colour is pretty scarce (and my personal favourite), so it's a very nice find. I'll post more tomorrow when I'm not so tired. Well done!

Excellent! A rare colour to boot. Many thanks suzy and Keith. I look forward to hearing more. The sites I have looked over have not had this colour either or shape. But I am still reading and learning a bit more on Mdina. What a great start to the weekend.
