Got this lovely fishy today, i knew it would glow, and it does, beautifully
I would think Murano? quite distinctive, hoping some one may suggest a maker. 50s 60s ,some age.
2 kg, 6 foot long (fishermans tale :24: actually 9 1/2 inches)
Cheers

cant tell you who what or where but jon (who collects glass fish) had one very very similar a while back in pale blue body (not uranium) to memory around the same size also, unfortunitly it came to a fishy end and is now swimming with the fishes (sorry last one honest :pb:). He might be interested if your selling

Thanks Michelle,
Hes had a wash and looks great on the shelf, so i think i will look after him for a while.
Does Jon know what to feed them on ?
:24:

ahhh jon is gutted bless, he is a beauty so i dont blame you (and secretly im quite happy as im not a fan of the fish we have already), if ever he gets to big for his tank let us know. Jons fish seem to like dust alot, although maybe not as there is always plenty around and on them, so they cant be eating it... :24: (bit of a no mans land, i refuse to dust them as there not my collection and jon wouldnt know what to do with a duster ;D, i think he is waiting for me to do it when i finally get the time to catalogue them all for Frank)
sorry couldnt be any help on the ID.

I don't have any books to hand, but wouldn't Cenedese be a good option?
PS: I think he's fabulous!
-
I'm useless at Murano, but Cenedese nearly always "sings" to me (it doesn't shout or scream - it's very melodic), and this fish is singing very sweetly to me.

Thanks Ladies, I can see why Cenedese is a possibilty, i may try an email to them.
Cheers,
Andy
