Title: Help to Identify Old Glass Lamp Shade - Beaded Edge and Sunburst Design
Post by: joedawolf on April 05, 2010, 08:22:32 PM
I have an 11" x 11" glass lamp shade - no markings.  Can anyone identify the design and maker?  Thanks.

I doubt it's a lampshade, the hole looks way too small to be one. I think it's had a metal stand and was intended as a compote / fruit bowl / table centrepiece or suchlike.

Late to this post. The shade is for a ceiling fixture. The hole in the center should fit a ⅜ stem and is held in place by a threaded cap/washer. A nice piece. I would guess 1920-1940.
