So I thought I'd own up to being the one that got it!
I won't go into how beautiful it is or how lucky I was to get it or how rare it is, I'll just let the vase speak for itself as when I try to articulate how it makes me feel I just go "phwoar!!!"
Three shots with differing natural lighting, courtesy of John/glassobsessed who is a far better photographer than I am. Thank you John. :kissy:

Im very glad for you and its nice to see its not just gone into a gallery somewhere

I know why you want to bring it to see me!!!!!
You're hoping the two of them will get together and produce a baby amethyst fish vase for you!

Also - Just wondering "How much is 30 Quid?" Is that the same as a pound? Sorry.....but I am not sure
-
Yes Antiquerose quid = pound. Unfortunately this piece was a lot more than £30!! Still a bargain as far as I'm concerned as it is one of my dream pieces.
Sue - :24: - the introduction will have to be done under strict supervision as the thought of two fish vases bumping their glassy bits together is scary! Oh god, now I'm glassy perv. :pb:

Glad I could help, BRADBURY7308. I might be able to recognise the sig but I haven't managed to come across a piece for such a bargain - have you found out whether it should have a stopper?

No i havent someone else on the board said it doesnt matter if it had one i tend to agree im gonna keep it at 1.50 i would only spend the money and im kinda getting quite attached, Its funny how a piece when it turns out to be something you never imagined it could be grows on you. Your vase is well nice i could see that in a london shop for a grand all day long just a personal opinion im not that up on these but its a hell of thing isnt it. ::) i bet you cant walk past without looking at it...
