Title: Early Mdina paperweight?
Post by: chriscooper on April 17, 2010, 12:10:55 PM
The signature is quite different from the others I have seen. The M has a loop on. The writing is quite small and "spread out". Paper label says Made in Malta and the number BR 13.

3.5" high and 3.5" across - it looks green but with light behind it looks blue

Hi Chris

Not an early one, as that type of sig appears on more modern 90's+ pieces.  I think that pattern is called Chevron - that's what I call it anyway. It's still being produced.

Suzy's right, Chris. This is also a slightly later shape (when I say later, I mean later than the first 3 years. I believe the Chevron pattern is a Joseph Said design.
