Title: Caithness (King's Lynn) Chicken - Has this been damaged?
Post by: yesvil on April 19, 2010, 07:01:37 PM
I found this today at a Charity shop and have a couple of questions about it if I may.

Would these be made as one-offs or where they produced in large numbers? The reason I ask is because I think there could be damage to the tail area but I'm really not sure - there is an area of roughness between the two sticky out bits - Obviously if these are made individually It wouldn't be too much of an issue as i could just smooth it out as I think on the whole it looks complete, but if this is a set design and it is missing a bit then I don't really want to sell it (I plan to because I don't really like it) as such.

I don't know anything about the production of these, but it does look as if there might have been three sticky out bits.......

That is quite similar. I'm wondering if mine is earlier in date?

This one seemed to be well received:
