Title: Is this what is called a salt? - ID = Bagley "Evesham" posy
Post by: uraniumsteve on April 24, 2010, 08:47:46 AM
Good day to you all. I have looked and looked to find out what it is and by whom. Using all of my experience, approx 2 weeks worth I am guessing its by Bagley as I have a  positively identified Bagley tulip vase in exactly the same colour, the texture and the quality feel the same so that's it final answer Bagley. Am I right or wrong
Thank you

Unless someone knows of a copy of the pattern, this is probably Bagley's "Evesham", pattern #3173 oval posy bowl, made between 1950 and 1975, in six sizes from 4" to 9.5".

(Info from Bagley Glass, Bowey, Parsons and Parsons 2004, ISBN 0-473-09836-9)

Bagley Evesham. We need sizes to work out what things might be.  ;D Also found in blue, amber, pink, black and clear.

Rather large even for a large salt then. Size does matter if you only have a picture!
