Title: Chances 'hanky' bowl,what colour?

4 inch cordon,looks too green to be sky blue,do I need new glasses?

Hi Keith - I know nothing about Chance glass at all, so don't know what names they use but I would call it Teal.  I may well be wrong so don't quote me!

I've a couple  which look the same colour as yours, Keith. Don't know if they have an official colour name but I call them slightly darker than turquoise. Or a  bit lighter than teal.  LOL!

Suppose it depends on what colour the sky actually is at any time!  ;) But here is a photo of the Sky and Lime-Green ones together.

But this thread is fortuitous as it allows me to post a photo of a clear vase in... acrylic! See this thread (http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,33116.msg179387.html#msg179387) to find out more. Must admit, I was really flattered to receive this  8)

Thanks for the replies,took a pic' with the flash and looks different again,interesting acrylic piece,was it a 'one-off'?

A few of the acrylic ones were made for members of the Smethwick Heritage Centre Trust, who had helped Holly Lodge organise the event, and former workers at Chance Brothers - very much a collaborative effort.
